I think both of them have the right looks for Mika and Hiro...but seeing them still makes me feel kinda weird...since no one can replace Gakky and Haru~ I wanna see the first episode to see how if they can have the same chemistry~

with just the pics... I don't really like him ... I think I'll need to see him acting Hiro to know whether he is worth watching or not... But he is nothing compared to Haruma !! (I love him too much, ne ??)

I've watched the first episode now and I have to say that although Seto Koji is a good actor, his version of Hiro cannot compare to Haruma's version in the movie. Another thing I fear is that there will be long filler episodes which do not really contribute anything much to the storyline. The only good thing could be a little bit of background story for the surrounding characters like Nozomu or Saki or generally everything and everyone around Hiro and Mika. There have also been some alterations to scenes which made me go =/ I will continue to watch this drama but at the moment, it really pales in comparison with the movie.

well, i dont think the filters are just made up lines, the book must be more detailed about their relationship, the movie was only 2 hours long and covered the most important parts of the story. i liked the way they re-made the whole story and how they showed Mika discovering her feelings for Hiro. too bad the ratings were so low :(, i guess it didnt surpass the expectations of many viewers.

yeah I know that the movie will be closer to the book really but... as I said, the actors might be good (okay I can only speak for Seto Koji here, I don't really like the girl much) but somehow they cannot carry the story and drama on their own... they don't give off the same impact as Miura and Gakky, YET. I'll stay optimistic but... =X

yeah i know what you mean, i think the girl needs more practice. the producers should have chosen a more experinced actress for such role as Mika. I think seto's doing good, i've never seen him in any other dramas tho, so i cant judge him yet

I've been a D-Boys fan for quite a bit now and Seto is a remarkable boy...ever since he became "Kikumaru Eiji" in the Prince of Tennis Musicals *nodnod* Paralle to Koizora, he's appearing in the Kamen Rider Series "Kamen Rider Kiva" (Sunday Mornings on TV Asahi, Kids programme...and also a movie right now, coupled with the Sentai Series "Engine Sentai Go-Onger" ^^) Some people who know that compare his role as Hiro in Koizora with his role in Kiva (Kurenai Wataru)... they're more or less polar opposites but that's where the similarities get in ^^; it's hard to explain... but yeah...the girl is, in my eyes, not the most ideal cast for mika =(
