|  Akai Ito which means "The Red String Of fate" is about junior high school students Mei and Atsushi who seem to be destined together by fate. They met when they were kids and have the same birthday now they meet again at the same Junior High School. They go through trials and events, but if it is fate will they end up together or does fate have them to be seperated? The love story was an online hit in 2006 and later published as a series of five books which sold 1.8 million copies Broadcast period: 2008-Dec-06 to 2009-Feb-28 Episodes released and subbed so far:| 01 | I fell in love with you the moment we met | 07.5 | ??.? | ??.?

| I heard good things about this drama, but the again.. why the bad ratings :(. I will watch it, i hope it doesnt turn like Koizora because i will stop watching it.. i have enough with my RL lol. _________________  |

| ^Yeah I also wondered why it had bad ratings, maybe not many people heard of it which is weird because the book sold a lot of copies x-x! So far the three episodes I've seen it's not like KoiZora ^^; the only similarities are School romance genre. | @ Kozumifan: I read that at the end of the movie it said "To Be Continued"...supposedly the movie starts off at the beginning, but the drama series is supposed to complete the ending. Also, the drama covers all of the movie too since the people who saw it said that episode 3 was also in the movie...I really don't know what the point was of making the movie like that, even all the same actors and actresses appeared in the movie :x. | This is like best drama of the season! I heard from my penpal that the movie was a short version of episodes from 3 to 8. Demo I read so bad, bad, bad, awful, sad spoilers! Now I'm bad at myself, because of it :( I want subs for ep. 6!!! |

| Although I suppose the school girl/boy love thing has been done quite a few times, I really like this drama. It's cute. :P |

| I started watching this drama for Wakaba Ryuuya really although his role is kind of tiny... but the drama is pretty good and I also like Mizobata Junpei... :) The story is quite intrigueing so far...and I hope it will make enough sense even without the movie... |
